Fanscape Makes Round of Promotions

Los Angeles, CA - January 26th, 2009:  Fanscape, the leading Digital Engagement Marketing Agency, today announced a round of promotions, including: Melissa Taylor to vice president, account management; Christy Wise to vice president, marketing; Michael Francesconi to director, social media marketing; My-lan Beauford to senior manager, digital publicity, Ben Arnold to senior manager, digital promotions, and Liza Patriana to account executive. All are based out of Fanscape's Los Angeles office.  CEO Larry Weintraub and President Terry Dry made the announcement.

 

"Each of the executives that we are so pleased to promote today have played an integral role in helping to grow the agency," said Weintraub.  "Fanscape's burgeoning success is a true testament to their tireless effort and deep understanding of emerging technologies, niche communities and word-of-mouth marketing."

 

Melissa Taylor has been named VP, account management, putting her in charge of all Fanscape client relations. Drawing on 10 years of marketing and product management experience, nearly four of which were spent with Fanscape, Taylor's new role will focus on helping clients achieve specific performance objectives including consumer engagement, customer acquisition, customer retention, traffic-driving, targeted branding and more. Formerly the department's senior director, she has successfully worked across a variety of verticals including: entertainment, technology, automotive, telecommunications and consumer goods. Prior to Fanscape, Taylor served as marketing manager at Interscope, Geffen, and A&M Records.

 

Christy Wise has been named VP, marketing. Having worked with Fanscape for four years, she will oversee all of Fanscape's digital marketing efforts including conversational marketing, digital media relations, influencer marketing, blogger relations and social media, with the primary objective of producing measurable results for agency clients. Wise was formerly the department's senior director and has nearly a decade of experience in public relations and marketing. Prior to Fanscape, Wise served as a publicist for JAG Entertainment.

 

Michael Francesconi has been elevated to director, social media marketing, working within Fanscape's Digital Communications Department.  Making the move from senior manager, Francesconi will be responsible for managing and executing Fanscape's digital services with an emphasis on social media marketing, social content creation, conversational marketing, and influencer outreach. Prior to joining Fanscape, Francesconi served as community manager for the Huffington Post.

 

My-lan Beauford has been promoted to senior manager, digital publicity, working within Fanscape's Digital Communications Department. Formerly manager, publicity, Beauford's new role will put her in charge of Fanscape's digital media relations services, with a focus on blogger relations and message distribution. Beauford will be responsible for managing a digital publicity team as well as contributing to Fanscape's overall digital marketing execution and strategy. Prior to Fanscape, Beauford served as a publicist for JAG Entertainment.

 

Ben Arnold has been promoted to senior manager, digital promotions, within Fanscape's Digital Communications Department. Having worked with Fanscape for four years, Arnold will be responsible for executing all digital incentive tactics including online sweepstakes and contests, online partnership negotiations and promotional marketing efforts. His new role will require close monitoring and evaluation of campaign successes, along with tracking website effectiveness. Arnold was formerly the department's manager of digital promotions. 

 

Liza Patriana has been promoted to account executive within Fanscape's Account Management Department.  After working with Fanscape for nearly three years, Liza will assume responsibility for all administrative, organizational and quality control initiatives for the entire department, as well as all of Fanscape's current clients. She will serve as a day-to-day contact for clients on all basic campaign needs and support for the vice president of account management as well as account directors.  Patriana formerly served as the department's coordinator.
